Prepare to be Bedazzled

It's just a short post for you today I'm afraid. I've gone back to work after a nearly a month on gardening leave and I'm absolutely shattered! By the time I get home each evening all I can face is cooking dinner and collapsing. I'm sure I'll get used to commuting again pretty soon and will have a bit more energy to be more creative in my designs. I'm already looking forward to summer so I can take daylight shots midweek. It's dark when I leave and dark when I get home at the moment, how depressing, I feel like I haven't seen the sun all week!

Enough blabbering, I'd better get this finished before I fall asleep! Today's design is a gel base again, another on from Red Carpet Manicure called Timeless Beauty*. It's a gorgeous nude shade and I've been wearing it all week. The staying power of this one hasn't been as great as Good As Gold* but I think that's because I've been back at work so my nails have taken way more of a battering. I keep catching myself chewing on them, and typing is the nail nemesis!

I picked the glitter pieces out of Rimmel's Bedazzle*, which is why there are a few teeny tiny glitter pieces clinging on too. Bedazzle* is a glitter topper with a clear base and a mixture of pink and blue pieces, some large some super small. I've been wanting to use it for a while and thought it would be fun for this quick and easy mani. Just blob some polish onto foil and use a toothpick to transfer pieces of glitter from the polish to your nail. They're coated in polish so will easily stick to you nail, then you just seal them in with top coat!

I didn't go for any kind of colour pattern with this one, not only because I didn't have the patience I promise! The colours are randomly mixed in the bottle and I love how it looks so decided to keep that trend on my nails.

Ok, so not such a short post after all, apparently I'm chatty when I'm pooped!

Hope you're not finding the post-holidays blues to bad!!

Love,
Jo x
