Frosted tips

winter nail art
I've succumbed to the full festive mani, I couldn't help it, I saw a super cute snowflake design on Instagram and couldn't help myself! This one was inspired by the awesome @polishedtwins, check them out if you haven't already. So many stunning designs!

I picked out a couple of frosty looking O.P.I shades - Embrace the Gray* and Shine For Me*. Once I had a quick glitter fade in place I added a couple of specks of sparkle with Rimmel London - Disco Fever*. The final frosty touch was added with a thin striper brush and the 'juice' from a white Barry M nail art pen. I topped it all off with a matte topcoat so I could get some semi-decent shots in the old lightbox. I can't wait for the days to finish getting shorter!

This design has a couple of different elements to it but was really simple to put together and is really fun for this time of year! I love a matte topcoat with a winter themed mani as it just adds to that 'frosted' look, like a glass that's just been in the freezer!

Are you rocking the festive designs yet?

Love,
