Rimmel Florals

These simple flowers were actually inspired by Emma's poppies from last November. Unfortunately they didn't turn out quite as planned. I forgot to vary the heights of the flowers so they're all lined up and look a bit rigid... oops!

I started with a white base of Nicole by O.P.I - Yoga-Then-Yogurt* and the drew on the stems with Rimmel - Round & Round The Garden using a striper brush. This was where it all went wrong. I made all the stems the same height rather than varying them a little.

I then used a dotting tool to add the petals starting with Rimmel - Seduce* for the purple ones and Rimmel - Fun Time Fuchsia* for the pink. I then used a lighter colour in the middle of each, Rimmel - Ultra Violet and Keep Calm & Kiss* respectively. Finally the centre of each flower is a tiny dot of Rimmel - Bee A Honey*. I've just realised that I used almost all Rimmel for these so I probably should have just stated that at the start of this polish list!
Although I'm disappointed with the execution this design is cute and really simple to put together, despite the millions of polishes I ended up using! Not something I'd wear out of the house but not an altogether nail fail.

What do you think?

Love,
Jo x
