As all the autumn winter nail collections are being released I've been dragged kicking and screaming into the new season. It's finally time to say goodbye to summer. I do love bright nails but I also love a good grey polish, which is perfect for this time of year!
Today's mani was inspired by @trendypolish on Instagram. I was drawn to the cute little arrow pattern so I adapted it a bit and turned it into something of my own. I was going to change the colours too but they were just too perfect so stuck to the original shades!
The polishes I used are both from Rimmel, the grey is Moon* and the burgandy is Berries and Cream*. I haven't used the berry colour much yet as we got sent it over summer but I think it will be quite prominent over the next few months! It's a gorgeous rich shade which I love as it doesn't go too dark when you put the second coat on, it really keeps it's colour density.
I used the 'juice' from a white Barry M nail art pen and a thin striper brush to add the arrows. I've been meaning to do a design like this for a while. It was so easy and looks super cute. Look out for it again in future mix and match manis! The studs are old ones from a little Primark pack. They're a bit too big for my tiny nails, I need to purchase some smaller studs!
I've been screenshotting quite a few of @trendypolish's mani's recently so expect to see a few more posts inspired by her!
Who inspires you most? We're always keen to find new accounts to follow!
Love,
