Pretty Pink Peonies

I really cannot tell you where the inspiration for this design comes from. Randomly I entered Jo & I into a competition on Instagram to win some Leighton Denny polishes and we won! Biggest shock of my week (even more so for Jo as she didn't know I'd entered). I used to adore this one shade from Leighton Denny that I got through three bottles of. I can't for the life of me remember what it was but it was similar in colour to Barry M's Pink Flamingo. Since then I haven't really tried Leighton Denny so I was keen to get stuck in and see how they fared with a bit of nail art.
One thing I really liked about the polishes that arrived were the heaviness of the bottle. This sounds weird but they just feel luxurious. I used this shade as the base: 3 Times A Lady*. It's a lovely baby pink shade that would be the perfect base for a French mani. It has a relatively thin application that builds nicely. This is three coats and it still wasn't completely opaque (hence why I think it'd be good for a French).
The peonies were created with another Leighton Denny pretty pink: Just Perfect*. I used some shades from other brands for the highlights and leaves. There were quite a lot but if you want a full list let me know in the comments.

Overall I was really pleased with the quality of the polishes and the shades are lovely. I'm sure I shall have more swatches and nail art to come with them.
