Wedding Inspired Vintage Roses

Sorry for the late post today, it's been one of those Mondays! The type that come around every week to be fair, poor Monday, it's never going to be the best day of our weeks. My design today is inspired by the event which seems to have taken over my life already, my wedding. I was determined not to get too carried away but it's just so fun planning everything. Ask me how I'm feeling about it in a year's time and you probably won't get the same answer!

The colour scheme I have in mind is a mixture of dusty pastel shades. We're getting married in a barn and the woodwork is all painted duck egg blue. I want pale pink roses and then accents of whatever other pastel shades we fancy really, oh and a bit of rose gold thrown in for good measure! I'm not great with colour schemes so it will probably end up looking a mess, but we'll love it so nevermind.
The pale pink roses in today's design are straight off my pinterest board which is just full of them. It's a flower I've always wanted in my bouquet as Tom brought me one on our first date, and also used them in his proposal. I teamed the roses with a bit of mint green and rose gold, as per the rest of the colour scheme! This mint is probably a bit too strong for the wedding theme but it works well for the nails so we'll let that slide.

The polishes I used were:
Barry M - Key Lime, Cardamom*, Kiss Me Quick*, Road Rage* and Grapefruit
Models Own - Coconut Cream, Pink Fizz

I love how the glitter adds more depth to this unintentionally vintage-esque design! A great one for summer, if it ever comes back!
