Dreaming Of The English Riviera

Today's palm tree design, inspired by @ninanailedit, is super summery and perfect for the weather we've been having recently. I love summer nail art, you can do just about any style or colour. We've done a lot of bright or pastel nails recently but this muted nude design is just as summery and gorgeous!
For this design I used a base of O.P.I - Be There In A Prosecco* from the Venice collection. The collection is actually their autumn winter shades but there are a few which are absolutely great for summer too. Plus, if you've got a whole heap of new O.P.I's sitting in the helmer it's incredibly hard not to use them!

The palm trees were painted on with a tiny brush using Barry M - Cocoa* for the trunks and Watermelon and Waikiki* for the leaves. They're not the best palm trees, and miles off Nina's but because they're so tiny and in a continued pattern they seem to work.
I love how summery this design is without being too bright or in your face. Not to say I dislike bright nails but it's always good to mix it up a bit!

The palms remind me of going to visit my granny in Devon, also known as the English Riviera! When we reached the roundabout with the palm trees I knew we were nearly there.

Love,
Jo x
