Something quick and simple for Saturday night, a Barry M mix up with polka dots and glitter. I picked out a couple of polishes I haven't used for ages, Vintage Violet* and Caspian and an old fave, Greenberry, along with Treasure Chest glitter. I wasn't really sure where I was going with this design, which you can probably tell, but I just loved the little group of colours.
Treasure Chest and Caspian go perfectly together as they're both from the Aquarium collection, both are primarily gold with a hint of pinkish rose to them. They're so pretty. I'm glad I rediscovered Caspian as it would make a great gold base for nail art, the only downside is that it's quite sheer so you need a few coats (and then the patience to let it dry!)
Greenberry and Vintage Violet* provide a great source of colour and the bright turquoise really brings out the richness of the deeper plum polish.
All in all I was quite pleased with how this turned out, especially as it was completely unplanned. Usually my unplanned designs turn out appallingly!
