Jo and I are worried that we are becoming the same person. We both decided to write a top five for spring post without discussing first. It's mainly odd as it's not the sort of post we usually write and we both decided to do them this weekend. Freaky! We also both chose quite similar colours which, I'm afraid, is a bit boring for you guys! Sorry.
My top five polishes for spring are (from thumb to pinky):
Lap of Honour*, Barry M Jo also picked this colour which clearly makes it a winner for this time of year. To be honest I loved all of the Speedy Nail Paints and could have chosen any of them for this line-up but I went for this as I love a lilac for this time of year.
Apple Bloom*, GOSH This shade is really fresh for 2015. It isn't a shade that I had really seen before this year and now GOSH and Barry M have come up with similar ones. I usually veer more towards mint greens but this one is beautiful.
Birthday Suit. Topshop I always seem to forget that I have this shade as I go to buy it every time I'm in Topshop. It's a gorgeous pastel blue that isn't too in your face for this time of year but is still pigmented enough to be interesting.
Sex On The Peach, L'Oreal I always forget that I have this colour but I found it recently and remembered why I loved it. It's the perfect peach for my skin tone and applies like a dream.
White Hot Love*, Rimmel I love a good white polish for spring. It was a toss up this year between White Hot Love* and Barry M's Cotton*. This polish just won as it's not quite so crisp, it has a bit of a shimmer which makes it softer on the eye.
Check out yesterday's post to see how Jo's top five compares. What sort of palette are you looking forward to wearing this spring?
