Prince George's wardrobe is so coveted that this tiny tank is already sold out across the UK, imagine being a style icon before your 2nd birthday!
It's not the first time I've been inspired by baby/kids clothing. The patterns are just so cute and they tend to be bright and bold which translates across to nail art well!
To create this Prince George inspired mani I started with a base of Rimmel London - Navy Seal*, which is the exact same shade as the tank top. It's one of my favourite blues as it's dark enough to be easily wearable but not so dark it looks black. I drew the guards shape on with a Barry M white nail art pen and then filled the colours in with a small brush. The red coats are Rimmel - Mars*, the yellow belts are Maybelline - Electric Yellow, the trousers are Barry M - Elderberry*, the faces are Rimmel - Let's Get Nude* and the black detailing was done with a black Barry M nail art pen.
The little chaps didn't come out quite as well as I'd hoped and you can see the imperfections on close inspection. However, overall I think they're pretty cute. I usually don't get to keep my mani's on for work, but as it's Friday (and Christmas) I'm wearing this one today, they make me smile every time I catch a glimse!
Love,
