Mattified Olive Accent Mani

We've been on a bit of a Barry M overload recently what with all of the new ranges they have introduced this autumn but I still feel like there is a lot of use to be got from their summer ranges so I'm afraid you're going to be seeing a lot more Barry M for the foreseeable future.

Today's look is a simple one that took forever to photograph as the lighting would not work for me. Eventually I got a couple of snaps that I was happy with. I used Barry M's Olive* as the main colour and Coconut* on the accent. I then got to work with my black nail art pen for the pattern. I didn't meant to create such a heavy pattern but one line went wobbly and then all the lines had to be thicker. Typical!

To finish everything off I used a matte top coat. I am still loving the matte look and am finding it difficult to rein myself in and not mattify everything. Rimmel's Matte Finish Mattifying Topcoat has long been my fave but Jo said she had trouble finding it the other day so we're wondering if they no longer produce it? Any tips for other brands who have god top coats will be welcome in the comments.
