Lovely Lavender

Lavender is such a pretty flower, and of course it smell amazing, so it's about time we included in some nail art. I went for a simple lavender design on two accent nails, it was really easy and I love how it turned out!

I used Rimmel - Seduce* for the purple lavender shade. It's a bit dark, but I used it over a white base to lighten it up a little. The lavender stems were drawn on with a small brush using Rimmel - Round And Round The Garden. I then added the lavender heads with a small brush.

To complete the mani I added Seduce* onto the remaining three nails using a sponge, over a white base coat. I used this technique to thin the polish colour and lighten it a little, also to add a bit more texture to the mani.

I love a good floral design and this one is no exception. I like that it's a little different to our usual florals.

All this talk of lavender is making me sleepy mmm!
