Festival Fun Times

Festival season is upon us again, so we've got some fun festival nail art for you today. A mixture of neon, glitter and tribal - you can't go wrong!

I love mixing pastels and neons together, it shouldn't work but it so does! Emma is better at matching colours than I am, so I often try to keep it simple, but can't help combos like this sometimes. I used Models Own - Lilac Sheen and O.P.I - Life Gave Me Lemons as the base colours. Disappointingly the yellow didn't come out that well in the photos, the camera couldn't really capture the highligher-esque neon glow. The glitter is Models Own - Southern Lights, such an awesome holographic polish! Whenever I'm wearing Southern Lights I can't help staring at it, such a distraction...

Whenever I think of festival nails they always feature a tribal print. This design is inspired by a ton of Instagram designs, picking different parts from each. I'm still trying to find the perfect tribal. I didn't want to do a tribal pattern on every nail so threw in some glitter fades for a bit of sparkle. Mixing bold prints and girly glitters is a great way to create a fun mani which really stands out!

What festivals are you going to this summer? What are you planning on your nails, bold and bright or cute and girly?

  1. These are so pretty - the combination of pastel and and neon works so well! I love the glitter gradient combination - I really need to try out a glitter gradient, yours always come out so well! I love the tribal print too! :)

    1. Glitter gradients are so easy, you HAVE to give it a go! E&J.xx

    2. I might just have my first attempt coming up on the blog next week.... :)
