Now I'm not a betting girl, mostly because it's been a long time since I used fractions/probabilities on a daily basis, but also due to the fact I'm just rubbish at it! So when I was invited to celebrate my brother's birthday at Ascot the first thing I thought was 'ooh horse-inspired nail art'...
You do not what to see what my attempt to create a horse in nail polish would look like, so true to form, I stuck to a pattern instead. A pattern made from tiny little horse-shoes!
The blue base is Rimmel - Navy Seal and I drew the little horse shoes on with a Barry M pen. They aren't as neat or even as I was hoping for, in hindsight I should have used a small brush. I often use a pale base for nail art, and was tempted to go for black shoes on a white base but my dress is floral blues and pinks so I thought I'd at least try to keep my nails similar tones!
If anyone has any tips for which horses to bet on today please let me know!
Love,
I know nothing of horse betting so I can't help you with that, but I adore your design! I always love the patterns you and Emma create and this one is no different :) The colours look really nice together as well!
ReplyDeleteThanks Robin - that's very sweet. We love checking your blog out too! Turns out we know nothing about horses either - we didn't win a penny! E&J.xx
DeleteThese are so cute! And I used to go horse riding all the time so these are right up my street! Always love you manis!

Thank you :) We've only been riding a couple of times but that doesn't mean we can't rock the horse shoes! E&J.xx
