Drip Drop Nails

This design has been on my to do list for a while - a pastel mix drip mani. I've done drips before in mix and match designs but not a full mani.

The colours were inspired by 90's children's telly, when every program seemed to have someone being dunked in gunge of all sort of bright colours. Plus, there was Mr Blobby, who is a colour inspiration in himself, ooh I feel a Mr Blobby-inspired design coming on soon!

For this design I used a base of Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream, and drew the drips on with their pink nail art pen. I outlined the drips using a metal nibbed nail pen as I find I can get thinner lines with that type.

You know we love pastels, and mixing two of them is even better! These are at the bright end of our pastel spectrum and, although it wouldn't be a colour combo we'd wear to the office, they're perfect for injecting a bit of fun to your nails. I feel like I've dipped my finger tips into the 90's!

Love,
