Pink Veneer

I've been practicing using the new(ish) Models Own HyperGel range. I find that gel effect polishes are a bit trickier to get even and smooth coverage because the formula is a bit thicker. The HyperGel colours are absolutely stunning though, so they're worth a little more concentration! This HyperGel is Pink Veneer, a beautiful baby pink and I love it!

For this mani I teamed Pink Veneer with another Models Own polish, Pink Fizz glitter, which I've already told you all about (here) so won't bore you with it again. Moral of the story - it's amazeballs! I also added a metallic nail using Nails Inc - Kings Road.

This mix of pastel, metallic and glitter works really well for a casual mani with a bit of a twist. The colour scheme is super girly and I love to team it with a light blouse and jeans.

  1. The hypergel application looks great here - I've heard that a lot of people are struggling with them, but you don't seem to be one of them! I love this mix of different polish finishes - it works really well! :)

    1. They are a bit difficult to use as they are thick but if you're willing to make the effort, we think they're worth it. xx
