I tried out a monochrome mani with a splash of pink recently (here) and loved it so much I wanted to have another go! This time instead of spots I went for stripes and bows.
I started with a base of Barry M - White (this is becoming a common theme in my nail art!) and then added the pink shapes with a nail art pen, again from Barry M. I outlined the bows in black and then added the stripes using a long, thin, striping brush. I was pleasantly surprised with how simple this mani turned out to be to do, as I was expecting the worst! It looked a bit strange during the making, but once finished it all came together nicely.
This would be a really fun manicure for a girly night out, or even a hen weekend!! I had a few colour options for the bows, something neon or a coral would be nice, or even a different colour on each nail! Ahh man, now I wish I'd tried that.. next time!
Love,
This is great! The black lines really make the design stand out and the bows are so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! We do love bows! Black & white manis always look good but these need a bit of colour to prettify them. E&J.xx
