Monochrome Tribal

Another mani inspired by clothing, this time a monochrome woven aztec/tribal skirt. This was a lot quicker and easier than it looks, which is brilliant! I started with a white base, let it dry completely and then added four strips of striping tape. One at the base, two alongside each other across the middle and one at the top. This gave me templates for the strips of patterns and helped neaten up the design. I drew the design on with a black nail are pen and then peeled off the striping tape. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out and will definitely be trying this again in summer with some bright colours or pastels.

  1. This design is stunning! I love the look of monochrome tribal nail art - it makes a detailed design like this look simplistic! :)

    1. Thanks! Monochrome manis always look chic and simple. E&J.xx
