Magnificent Movember Mani

November is now less formally known as Movember, the month in which men try their very best to grow something comparable to a moustache. Movember all started in Australia as a way of raising awareness for men's health, focused mainly on testicular and prostate cancer. The fun quickly spread and the craze has become huge across the world.

The aim of Movember is to raise funds and awareness for male cancers (among other illnesses). Men are challenged to grow a moustache throughout the month in exchange for sponsorship from friends, family, and strangers they meet in the street. There are tons of events and promotions going on around the UK during November to help promote the cause. We posted a Breast Cancer Awareness Month mani for the ladies in October, so it's only fair that we created a Movember mani for the gents!

I was inspired by the monochrome colour scheme on the Movember website but decided to use a very pale blue instead of white or grey. The colour I chose is Models Own - Blueberry Muffin, as it's perfectly pale, but not as stark as white. I drew on the 'MO's and 'taches with a trusty Barry M nail art pen.
